WELCOME TO
JASHITA HOTEL & VILLAS
In today’s world, the true marker of luxury has shifted from opulent maximalism to storydriven preservation. The ability to exclude oneself from an ever demanding society and prioritize one’s wellbeing is becoming increasingly prominent in the high end travel industry. The simplicity of indulging in comfort however, does not gratify our souls yearning for tranquility and recovery. We crave more.
HOSPITALITY WITH A STORY
Set on a private white-sand beach along Mexico‘s Riviera Maya, Jashita Hotel, the newly affiliated Relais & Chateaux, offers an intimate expression of luxury shaped by family heritage. Owned and operated by the Marchiorello family, Jashita Hotel began as a holiday home in the 90’s, and with love and passion, has since developed into one of the most scenic hotels on the coast. It is their strong familiar dedication that ensures attentive service, character, and a deeply personal sense of place. From Italian linens and interior design to the management and culinary offerings, the owning family has personally shaped and overseen every detail of the property.
Being one of the only bays protected by the second-longest coral reef in the world, guests are greeted by pelicans in the morning and, during nesting season, by turtles laying eggs at night. It is this combination of nature with true luxury that allows tranquility and refined hospitality to blossom. With year round warm shallow waters, guests can take kayaks, snorkel equipment and paddle boards for endless entertainment in the private bay’s calm crystal-clear waters.
Jashita Hotel’s focus on wellness began when the property served as their holiday home, being a sanctuary from the external world. Equipped with both indoor and outdoor spas, ocean view open air yoga studio and gym, guests can expect a full return to their inner self. This care is felt throughout the property, especially at the outdoor CAOBA Spa. Built entirely out of local Caoba wood, Jashita’s ‘Mayan Medicine Women’ and Shaman welcome guests into the open air spa, where, amongst ocean waves, bird chirps and soft breezes, holistic wellbeing and relaxation take precedence.
Food nourishes the soul. Guests can expect to find the owner making beachfront paella on Sundays for the guests or making fish tacos from his latest catch. The properties Italian and Mexican inspired restaurant Pandano offers a romantic candle-lit beachfront restaurant where being barefoot is encouraged.
Although isolation and preservation are becoming luxury travel’s new pursuit, it is the proximity to world class attractions despite Jashita’s seclusion that makes for a rare and exceptional balance. Located 15 minutes from Tulum town, guests enjoy easy access to the region’s most celebrated attractions, including the iconic Tulum archeological sites, second to none cenotes and world class cuisine.
